State of Undress are based in Christchurch, Dorset. We are always keen to find venues that are receptive to excellent original music and we will travel a long way for the right gig! In addition to pubs and clubs, we are the perfect band for events such as festivals, fairs, carnivals and Christmas parades, and private functions. We love playing Beer Festivals and Steam Festivals (we are officially approved by S.O.D.E.M - the Society of Drivers and Engine Men!) : this year we played at The Great Dorset Steam Fair for the fifth year running! For the last 18 months, we have toured the country from Cornwall to Scotland and from Wales to London playing arts centres, theatres and quirky music venues to great acclaim. This summer we made it over to Ireland to play at the quirky, eccentric and totally gorgeous Crane Lane Theatre in Cork and The Tall Ships Race Festival in Waterford with The Waterboys headlining. We are professional and passionate and have a great rapport with the audience...and, of course, we do have a bit of a thing going on with some shaky eggs!

Our set does include a light sprinkling of cover versions of some great well loved songs, but what really excites us is playing our own music and bringing it to a wider audience.
